Since the age of four, William has committed his birthday celebrations to supporting various charitable organizations. This practice commenced when he encountered a World Vision advertisement highlighting the plight of children suffering from hunger. Following this, he inquired with his mother about the possibility of sending yogourt from their fridge to the kids. His mother told him this would not be feasible; however, upon recognizing William's ongoing concern, she suggested that he request monetary contributions for World Vision from his birthday guests instead of gifts. This suggestion led to the establishment of a tradition that he continues to uphold today.
