Empower Survivors by Registering to Run/Walk the Hope in Motion 5K
Your registration fee supports survivors and TWO victim service agencies serving the community.
Race is professionally timed.
Top winners in men's and women's categories will receive a Fleet Feet gift card – with a total of $600 in prizes up for grabs!
Registration opens at 9:30 am. Opening remarks at 10:15 am. Race begins at 10:30 am. Winners announced at 11:30 am.
Walk-up registrations will be accepted on the day of the race for an increased adult registration fee of $65 so get your ticket ahead of time to save.
FAMILY FUN DAY:
Strollers welcome in the race for no additional fee.
In addition to the race, the event will include a Small Business Saturday featuring:
- Local Vendors showcasing their products
- Bruster's Ice Cream Truck to enjoy a sweet treat
- Beer from Fat Bottom Brewing to celebrate after you cross the finish line
Examples of the impact your support can make:
- $50 (adult registration fee): 1 Emergency Bag. Each bag, carefully assembled by Operation Rose, contains essential items such as clothes, gift cards, a journal, and other emergency supplies. These bags are a lifeline for survivors transitioning out of exploitation, offering them immediate support and a sense of dignity and hope as they start their journey to recovery.
- $25 (child registration fee): 1 Safe Bar Package. SAC provides bystander-intervention training to staff at local alcohol-serving establishments. Signage, drug-detection cards, fentanyl strips and hotline cards are given to each newly certified Safe Bar.
- $150 (family of 4 registration for 2 adults and 2 children): 1 night of safety for a trafficking survivor. Survivors are often brought to SAC for a forensic exam (rape kit). Since trafficking survivors typically do not have a safe place to go, a nearby hotel gives a night of safety, and a place to shower and decompress.
